Date: Sometime between 0513 and 0518Event Factoid: Sometime during his episcopacy Severus of Antioch received a petition from Stephen, a deacon in Antaradus requesting the intervention of Severus in the case of Leontius who had been removed from the sacred tables for taking a second wife after his ordination as a deacon but allowed to keep ministering. Stephen opposed his lifestyle and his attempts to become head deacon.
