Date: 0431Event Factoid: The Council of Ephesus in 431 heard from Charisius that many in Lydia followed a creed by Theodore of Mopsuestia. In rejecting it and Nestorianism, the Council required only an orthodox profession of faith without the need for be re-baptism or re-anointing.
