Paul was a miaphysite bishop ordained by Jacob Burd'oyo around 558 and appears in the tritheist debate of the 560s. He was pressured into accepting the Chalcedonian communion in 571 and reordained as bishop of Antioch in Caria. He appears in Joh. Eph., EH 1.14 and 2.42-43.5
