Theophilus of Alexandria wrote a letter to Flavian of Antioch urging his to accept clergy ordained by his opponents during the Melitian Schism without the need for re-baptism or re-anointing. He cites the case of Anastasius in Rome and the case of Auxentius and Ambrose in Milan. See factoid page
